In memory of leaving the beautiful state of California and coming to my new home, I decided to write about what I learned for living a year out here. It hasn’t been a year yet, but I won’t be home when it happens because I’ll be back in California (Ironic that i wanted to leave but I can never stay away).
1. Trying to make friends going to a community college that is filled with all middle aged people and people who graduated from high school together is extremely hard.
2. No matter where you are people are shady as fuck. I thought moving out of California would change that but it didn’t.
3. I seem to lean towards finding partiers instead of friends that just want to hang out. I can’t go anywhere with these people without alcohol or some drug in their system. While I don’t usually find this a problem, for some reason it bothered me.
4. I HATE COLD WEATHER. First time living somewhere were it snows was a big culture shock to me -__-.
5. People forget about you, or when they say they’ll text you never do, even if you text them and they won’t respond. I’ll be honest, I kinda saw this one coming though.
6. While your closet friends may not talk to you everyday they still care, especially by giving me a place to stay while I’m there.
7. I will drink dark alcohol over anything else any day now since it’s all we ever drink, and 40s of OE weren’t as bad as I remembered them.
8. Tattoos are fun to get, the pain doesn’t bother me anymore, since i now have 2 on my chest.
9. Community college for me was like another year of highschool
10. Slacking in college is extremely easy to do, especially when things aren’t due for 2 weeks. For instance, I had a paper I knew about months ago due tomorrow, and you can bet your ass I wrote that shit tonight.
Uh I think thats about it, I wish my followers would ask me questionsss
